Gîte Le Chasseur

Gîte Le Chasseur is a spacious home on Domaine de Maziéras in the heart of the Dordogne with use of heated swimming pool, tennis court and horse facilities. This accommodation is particularly suitable for a couple looking to buy a home in the Dordogne

The gîte is situated on the east side of the country house facing north and south and is warm in the winter and cool in the summer and is surrounded by 100 ha. of forests, grassland, chestnut, walnut orchards and poplar plantations.

From this house you have a beautiful panorama. The river la Crempse ripples in the distance and you can see swallows skimming the pool. Via a short staircase that leads from the house to the basement, you almost immediately stand in the front garden with the pool. At the rear of the house is a private courtyard where you can relax in the shade or in the sun.

The main room of Le Chasseur is the large living room. There are two dining tables, a spacious seating area and a wood-burning stove (wood is provided by the domaine at no charge to you) The characteristic kitchen is fully equipped. A 4-burner stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, 2 fridges and a freezer.

There are two bedrooms on the ground floor including one bedroom with a double bed and one bedroom with two single beds. You will also find two bathrooms here. A bathroom with bath, shower, double sink and a separate toilet and a second bathroom with shower, separate toilet, double sink and washing machine. A tumble dryer and ironing facilities are also provided.

A staircase leads to a hall upstairs where there are two bedrooms on either side. There are two single beds in both rooms.
There is central heating through radiators (oil). In and near the home is Wi-Fi wireless internet and GSM coverage. You can also use the decoder TV with a wide range of foreign channels, including English.

You may use the swimming pool and tennis court .The pool is located inside the fence and is heated from the end of May to the end of October.

The owners Roelf and Dora live on the west side of the country house. Due to the spacious layout, the estate offers a lot of privacy for both tenants and the owners who look after the day-to-day management.
